Lock and release devices

The lock and release devices of the system of fire protection with Novec 1230 Fire Protection
Fluid are set to the maximum level of flow rate of Novec 1230 for the purposes of
compliance with the time for discharging the system, defined in terms of the fire protection
standards of NPB.
Each valve of the lock and release device of the fire protection system with Novec 1230
consists of a brass case, brass piping with resilient saddles, a controlled back-pressure release
valve, a safety disk in a kit form, a pressure manometer and an electromagnetic valve.
The design of the lock and release device of the system of fire protection with 3M Novec 1230 Fire Protection Fluid is such that it reduces pressure over the valve, which in turn, enables the piping to move up, completely opening the valve and discharging 3M Novec 1230 Fire Protection Fluid through the venting hole.
The venting hole is equipped with a counter recoil mechanism preventing any unsanctioned
moving of a balloon gas cylinder, in case of its discharging without connecting the valve of
the balloon gas cylinder to the tubing network.
